Meet the Walsh team

Tim Finbow

As a Director, Tim draws on his background in structural design and analysis to deliver excellent conceptual design and run well-managed projects. From the initial ideas phase and appointing internal teams, Tim manages the delivery of the project through to completion, with the client at the forefront at all times. He also uses his wealth of experience to undertake QA reviews and prepare reporting documents. As well as this, Tim is the company Financial Director and Company Secretary, working across all the organisations within Walsh. Tim’s guidance and expertise in this area, has helped see the company navigate a complex management restructuring process smoothly and successfully.

Tim is an extremely cooperative and accommodating project manager, and due to this has built lasting partnerships with many of his clients and contractors. Being delivery focussed and solution orientated, he is accomplished at bringing projects in on time and within budget.

One such project was the structural design of Birmingham Library. This particular task was novel in terms of engineering, team, client body and contract. Every aspect of the design was unique, a challenge which Tim found inspiring and motivating. This project gave Tim the opportunity to showcase his full range of skills and put Walsh in the spotlight.

“Working at Walsh has given me the chance to evolve and advance my skills over the last 15 years and I’m excited about what challenges I’ll face next.”
